Job summary

Solid Recruitment in Chichester is seeking a Portfolio Analyst on a hybrid basis. You will interrogate invoices, hold retailers to account, and manage data quality to support accurate billing and timely customer responses.

The ideal candidate is proactive, efficient, and commercially aware, with strong communication skills. You will collaborate with the Account Management and Operations teams to deliver reliable outcomes and identify potential savings opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Interrogate invoices to ensure retailers provide accurate information and track resolution.
  • Review and compare data between CRM and central market; investigate disparities.
  • Explain variances and trends; provide insight to internal teams and customers.
  • Validate invoices and manage data quality.
  • Ensure customer contracts SLAs are met through accurate billing.
  • Develop knowledge of market structure and tariffs.
  • Identify savings opportunities from tariff knowledge.
  • Complete payment files in branded format within agreed timeframes.
  • Review CRM data with other analysts to maintain high quality.
  • Challenge retailers on invoice inaccuracies and track resolutions.
  • Provide updates to the Account Management Team as required.
  • Handle incoming emails and calls promptly within SLAs.
  • Meet regularly with the Account Management Team as required.
  • Identify action points from meetings & reports, follow through to resolution.
  • Ensure effective communication throughout the Operations Team.

Job Title: Portfolio Analyst

Based: Chichester / Hybrid

Role: Full time Permanent

Salary: £26,250 plus bonus and career path

  • Represent the customer in holding retailers to account, tracking resolution of open queries in Company Software
  • Develop a detailed understanding of tariffs and charging methodologies,
  • using this to analyse invoices within SLA.
  • Data steward, ensuring a high level of accuracy & robust data quality
Main Responsibilities for the Portfolio Analyst

  • Analysis Interrogate invoices to ensure retailers are providing accurate information for customers, challenging them as appropriate & tracking resolution through the billing query process.
  • Regularly review and compare data between company CRM and the central market, investigating and correcting disparities
  • Investigate & explain variances and trends, providing insight internally & to customers
  • Invoice Validation & Data Management
  • Validate both paper and electronic billing to ensure customer contract SLAs are achieved.
  • Develop a strong knowledge of market structure and tariffs.
  • Provide insight as to the impact of any updates on the team and wider business
  • and use this knowledge to identify savings opportunities.
  • Complete payment files in appropriate branded format on a customer agreed timeframe to ensure invoices are paid.
  • Review & update CRM data regularly, in conjunction with other analysts to ensure data is high quality.
  • Challenge retailers on inaccuracies in invoices and track resolution through the billing query process.
  • Provide updates to other team members as required.
  • Manage incoming email queries from customers, retailers & other
  • sources in a prompt & polite manner within contractual SLAs.
  • Promptly answer inbound calls, dealing with all callers politely and professionally.
  • Meet regularly with the Account Management Team as required.
  • Identify action points from meetings & reports, follow through to resolution and communicate progress.
  • Ensure effective communication throughout the Operations Team,
  • proactively collaborating with all analysts & supporting in completion of
  • any relevant tasks to provide the best customer outcomes.
  • Projects Identify project opportunities & support in delivery of these across the Operations Team.
  • Supports during the onboarding process for new customers.
