Job description

We are actively seeking applications from individuals keen to take up a career within one of Europe’s leading food processing companies – Dunbia UK, part of the Dawn Group. This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established team, who have a desire to produce better food naturally.

Responsibilities

1. Supporting the achievement of departmental yield and efficiency targets.
2. Ensuring that Quality, Health & Safety and other Company policies are adhered to.
3. Moving carcasses around the factory.
4. Working in a chilled environment.
5. Use of knives or other equipment to perform meat cutting and trimming.
6. Be aware of and work to departmental SOP’s.
7. Proper use and storage of issued PPE (including chainmail and knives etc.)
8. Responsible for the intake and weighing in of carcasses and ensuring they meet customer specifications.

1. Have excellent organisational skills with the ability to plan workloads effectively to meet deadlines.
2. Have well-developed interpersonal and communication skills.
3. Be highly motivated.
