A prominent healthcare provider in Liverpool is seeking Porters to support hospital services. Responsibilities include transporting patients, delivering meals, and handling medical equipment. Ideal candidates will possess strong communication skills, customer service experience, and the ability to work under pressure. Successful applicants must be adaptable and physically fit, playing a vital role in hospital operations.
We are looking to recruit Porters to work various shifts Monday to Sunday supporting the Porter Services Department at Liverpool University Hospitals (Aintree Site).
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and capable individual with high standards of communication and a positive work attitude. You must be of smart appearance, polite manner and possess excellent customer service skills.
You will be responsible for supporting service improvements and encouraging the delivery of high productivity; supported by excellent customer care.
You will be able to work on your own initiative and under direction, whilst maintaining confidentiality and discretion at all times. The ability to prioritise your own workload and multi-task, as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.
In this role you will be required to provide a customer focused Porter service.

You should be a team player who will support other team members, Coordinators and Managers.
The role of a Porter is instrumental to the smooth running of the Hospital, you will move patients, deliver patient meals and manage safe movement of other medical equipment.
Porters should have the ability to work quickly and calmly in emergencies, have good interpersonal skills with the ability to listen and empathise, be patient and tolerant, a good physical fitness and have the ability follow instructions and work to tight time constraints.
