What you'll bring to the team

Do you thrive in a fast-paced, fun-filled environment where no two days are the same? Then we want you to help us deliver unforgettable experiences as a Hotel Porter at Alton Towers Resort!

What You’ll Be Doing:

Working across 5 unique properties, you’ll play a key role in delivering exceptional customer service from check-in to check-out.

You’ll:

  • Greet and assist guests of all ages with luggage and hotel information
  • Assist our guests with any in room request such as TV1;s, heating/aircon units and much more.
  • Upkeep the standards of tidiness of the hotel properties and grounds to ensure everything is spotless for our guests!
  • Be a positive, helpful presence in the hotel reception and public areas – always ready with a smile

What We’re Looking For:

We’re seeking enthusiastic, proactive, and helpful individuals who love to go above and beyond. The ideal candidate will have:

  • A proactive attitude and a can-do approach to solving problems
  • A genuine passion for delivering exceptional customer service
  • Strong communication skills and a friendly, approachable manner
  • Flexibility to work shifts including weekends, evenings
  • The role requires a good level of physical fitness, as it involves a significant amount of walking throughout the day.

Previous hotel or guest service experience is a bonus – but not essential as you’ll be trained on the job. It’s your attitude, personality and passion that matter most!

You'll also take responsibility for the safe handling of guest property, delivering it to their rooms as well as being on hand for any additional help they may need during their stay. In this role you could work in any of our amazing hotels.

Pay Range

Compensation between GBP £7.55/Hr.-GBP £12.21/Hr.
