This role involves providing high-quality services to patients, staff, and visitors, ensuring effective communication and operational efficiency. Salary: £24,321.87 per annum

To work as part of the Porter Driver team within the Hotel Services Team.
To assist in providing a high-quality service to patients, staff, and visitors.
Responsible for performing general portering duties on wards and around the clinic, including serving food to wards and other sites like Newbridge, daily rubbish collections, clinical waste, pharmacy deliveries, linen, and postal services. Also, ad hoc duties as required.
SSL works in partnership with Birmingham and Solihull Mental Health Foundation Trust (BSMHFT) to deliver facilities management, transport, and support services across over 50 sites in the West Midlands. The post holder must ensure effective communication with the multidisciplinary team, colleagues, and service users regarding current work progress.
Responsible for personal development, training, maintaining confidentiality, professional conduct, understanding policies, and contributing to organizational aims. Also, undertake ad hoc duties as required, including delivery and collection of pharmacy items, food, linen, rubbish, and equipment, and ensuring safety and security of vehicles and supplies.
This role requires a DBS check in accordance with the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions) Order 1975, to check for any criminal convictions.
