Job Title: Porter

Location: Littlemore Mental Health Hospital OX4 4XN

Shift Pattern: Monday – Sunday working hours between 6am and 5pm.

Pay: £12.21 per hour plus enhanced pay for weekends and bank holidays

What You’ll Be Responsible For

  • Transport patients safely and efficiently within the hospital premises.
  • Assist with the movement of medical equipment and supplies as required.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of transport areas.
  • Provide excellent customer service to patients and staff during interactions.
  • Follow health and safety protocols to ensure a safe environment for all.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to support patient care effectively.

Requirements

  • Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
  • Demonstrated customer service experience in a healthcare or similar setting.
  • Ability to drive is preferred but not mandatory depending on specific roles.
  • A compassionate approach towards patient care and support.
