A leading healthcare provider in London seeks a Portering team member to provide a professional Portering service. The role includes assisting with lifting and patient movement, working in various environments, and handling customer interactions. Candidates should have a driving license, healthcare experience, and strong communication skills. This position requires physical fitness and the ability to work shifts, including nights and weekends.
The post holder will work as a member of the established Portering team to provide a Portering service, to the Trust, that is highly visible, service user focused and professional at all times with the overarching goals of creating a safe and crime free environment for all patients, staff, visitors, and the public.
Occasional moderate lifting
There is a frequent requirement for light physical effort for severallong periods during a shift
Frequent exposure to distressing or emotional circumstances dueto the nature of the role.
Frequent exposure to difficult customers, service users, often inemotional circumstances
Requirement to use Visual Display Unit equipment continuouslymost days.
