Pickfords the UK’s largest and best known removals company is looking candidates who want to start their career in removals and progress to be an experienced packer or porter.

As part of a team, you’ll be responsible for delivering great personal service as you move our customers. This is a physically demanding role and you will be professionally trained to pack, wrap, load and unload furniture and heavy goods. This is a highly personal service, delivered in our customers’ homes, so expect lots of customer interaction, and to be part of a highly motivated team .

If you want to develop further, a Pickfords Packer Porter can opt to train as an LGV Driver. Pickfords will provide full driver training to ensure you achieve your LGV and CPC licence. You will be trained to drive a 7.5 tonne removals vehicle and to manage and lead your own removals team.
