Job Title: Porter (Enhanced DBS Required)
Location: Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire
Pay: £12.21 per hour (Pay review pending)
Contract Type: Temp-to-Perm
Shifts: Monday to Friday, 8-hour shifts on a rota basis between 7am–7pm

Interaction Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Porter to join our client’s team in a healthcare setting in Huntingdon. This is a key role supporting the Facilities Management team & contributing to the safe and smooth running of the site.

Responsibilities:

  • Safely transferring patients between different departments
  • Moving medical equipment across the site
  • Handling clinical waste and transporting hazardous materials
  • Delivering internal post and supplies to wards and other departments
  • Requirements:

  • Valid Enhanced DBS certificate (ideal) – we can support the application process if needed
  • Ability to work independently across a large site
  • Strong sense of responsibility and professionalism
  • Comfortable working with the public in a healthcare environment
  • This role is available for an immediate start and offers the potential for a permanent position following the temporary contract period.
