Job description

Pertemps are recruiting several Port Tug RORO Operatives to join our Client in Portsmouth on a permanent basis. This is an opportunity not to be missed, with a fantastic company that has a great ethos, doing significant work in the local area and beyond.

Your role as a Port Tug Operative involves mooring and unmooring vessels, and moving vehicles and passengers through the port using plant equipment, including Forklift Trucks, Telehandlers, and Tug Masters, safely and responsibly.

Salary: £30,000.00 - £31,671.00 per year.

The successful applicant must be available to work on a rota basis, including days, evenings, and weekends, with not all weekends required.

All candidates must have:

  • Valid UK Driving Licence (max. 6 points)
  • Experience operating Tug Masters (essential)

  • Resilience and ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
