Are you an experienced Crane Operator ready for a new challenge in one of the UK's busiest and most dynamic port environments?

Stafforce, a leading recruiter in the ports and shipping industry, is offering fantastic temp-to-perm opportunities for skilled Crane Operatives to join our client's expanding team in Liverpool

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate a range of cranes including Mobile Harbour Cranes, Ship's Gear, and Gantry Cranes
  • Safely discharge various cargo types including bulk materials and steel from deep sea vessels
  • Use a variety of lifting attachments such as Hook, Grab, and Bromma spreaders
  • Perform pre-shift safety checks and report any faults or concerns
  • Support additional port duties including traffic management, slinger/banksman tasks, and general cargo handling
Ideal Candidate Profile:
  • 12+ months of crane operating experience in a port, marine, or heavy industry environment
  • Prior experience working with deep sea vessels is highly desirable
  • Strong awareness of health & safety procedures and safe systems of work
  • Flexible and reliable, with the ability to work rotating day and night shifts
  • A team player with a proactive attitude and willingness to support wider port operations
