- To work alongside the POP Wellbeing Co-ordinator to develop a regular timetable of wellbeing activities.
- Develop ‘POP UP’ sessions specialising in confidence building, motivational activities, CV writing and Job applications that can be delivered within Schools and Colleges with Y11 and sixth form/college students.
- Support the POP Wellbeing Co-ordinator to identify and build relationships with partner agencies who will host POP UP’s in their venues.
- Engage in promoting and recruiting young adults into the POP Wellbeing service
- Deliver ‘POP UP’ sessions at established venues.
- Prepare and cover wellbeing topics in an informal way with young adults during POP UP sessions.
- Manage young people’s behaviour to ensure a safe environment is provided to all
- Lead and develop social community engagement activities such as ‘POP OUT’s in local parks and venues to encourage independence and building confidence.
- Promote the project at professional and community events and within School and College settings.
- To deploy the ‘youth bus’ and deliver mobile youth engagement sessions in targeted areas.
- To empower young adults in the notion of having aspirations for their future
- To monitor new referrals into the service and make contact with referred young people within 2 working days. To manage a small caseload of young adults in a one to one capacity via a variety of methods, including face to face, telephone calls and accompanying young adults to appointments where necessary via POP OUTS.
- To support young adults attending POP UP’s to nurture and build friendships with other service users.
- To keep up to date accurate records for all contact made with young people via online monitoring.
- Support the POP Wellbeing Co-ordinator in producing regular reports for the commissioners.
- Follow safeguarding procedures for the organisation and represent at and write reports for young adults who have existing safeguarding measures in place.
- To be professionally curious and share any safeguarding concerns with the DSL

Person Specification
Educated to degree standard
Experience in:
Face to face delivery and engagement with young people
Providing support for young people
Managing behaviour in groups
Providing confidence building, support in developing independent living skills
Use of IT systems
Keeping accurate and timely records
Report writing
Must have:
Full Clean Driving Licence
Ability and/or willingness to drive the Youth Bus
Safeguarding awareness and experience of reporting and monitoring safeguarding concerns
Be able to work well as part of a team
Ability to work evenings and weekends as required
Effective communication skills with both young people and professionals
Clear Enhanced DBS Certificate
