Job summary

Wave Active in Lewes is seeking a vigilant lifeguard to monitor the pool and surrounding areas, respond to emergencies, and ensure high standards of hygiene and safety.

You will supervise changing rooms, support swimming lessons and water activities, and help deliver the Centre's health and safety policies while providing friendly, proactive customer service.

Qualifications

• Similar work environment is preferred.
• NPLQ qualification or ability to obtain NPLQ.

Responsibilities

• Lifeguard and supervise pool area; assist swimmers in difficulty.
• Record chemical levels and ensure pool readiness for lessons and activities.
• Maintain hygiene standards across pool facilities and changing areas.
• Support delivery of safety procedures during emergencies.
