Polyglot Developer / Backend Software Engineer *Newcastle onsite* to £130k+

Are you a technologist who enjoys using a range of programming languages and technologies?

You could be progressing your career, working on complex and interesting systems in an impactful role at a FinTech start-up as a founding member. They have secure backing and an established Hedge Fund client as a partner.

As a Polyglot Developer, you will collaborate with a small, talented team to deliver the core platform within a Microsoft environment using the latest versions of C# .NET to produce high-quality code. Once the Beta has been rolled out and tested, the company has ambitious growth plans, and you'll work with differing tech stacks depending on the client. This is a great opportunity to be involved from the ground up and progress your career.

Location / WFH:

You will join colleagues in Central Newcastle offices on a full-time basis (Monday to Friday).

About you:

• You have achieved a minimum 2.1 BSc in Computer Science or a similar technical discipline from a top-tier / Russell Group university, backed by A's at A-level.
• You're a technologist who enjoys collaborating and problem-solving, working on complex, distributed systems.
• You have a strong knowledge of modern software engineering best practices and experience across the full software development lifecycle.
• You have a thorough understanding of Computer Science fundamentals such as OOP, Data Structures, Design Patterns, Algorithms.
• You're excited to join a start-up in a role that you can shape and influence.
