Job Title: Tax Consultant (Policyholder)

About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Tax Consultant to join our pension servicing team. In this role, you will oversee key aspects of policyholder tax operations, including compliance, reporting, and regulatory tasks. You’ll work closely with internal teams, auditors, and regulatory bodies to ensure the accurate and timely delivery of tax services. This position offers the chance to make a real impact by enhancing processes and supporting the effective operation of the tax compliance cycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage HMRC deliverables to ensure timely submissions for pensions and bonds.
  • Perform tax reconciliations, agree on liabilities, and facilitate accurate payments.
  • Provide technical tax advice for operational and regulatory changes.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to improve tax controls and processes.
  • Assist in audits by providing clear and detailed information.
  • Support the team in planning and managing tax workloads, including identifying opportunities for improvement.
