Version 1 is seeking a talented policy analyst to join our growing team in Scotland. You will analyse policy options, facilitate workshops, and shape strategic directions with senior stakeholders across government and industry.

Qualifications

• Strong analysis experience in consultancy, services or public sector.
• Good project management with ability to plan and meet deadlines.
• Experience with user-centred design teams in an agile environment.
• Experience managing senior stakeholders.
• Experience leading teams and strategic thinking.
• Excellent communication to explain complex processes to non-experts.
• Experience in government user-centred design policy is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Policy analysis including options analysis and feasibility analysis.
• Curating and facilitating workshops.
• Scoping and setting the direction of work.
• Maintaining relationships with senior stakeholders.
• Working with policy stakeholders to shape visions and strategies.
• Advocating for user-centred policy design with senior stakeholders.
• Running stakeholder research sessions when required.
