Job description

Policy, Project and Executive Support Lead

£55,399 - £69,947 per annum

Permanent or Fixed Term (12 months)

Full Time (36 Hours)

Wandsworth, London

You will be required to be in the office on average half the week.

About the role

Reporting to the Head of Policy and Improvement in Children's Services, you will lead and manage a team of 7 Executive Assistants and Executive Support colleagues. Your role is crucial in providing creative and delivery capacity to meet the evolving needs of children's and families' services, ensuring the effectiveness of our executive support teams.

Key responsibilities include developing and managing policy and transformation projects, writing associated papers and project plans, managing a busy schedule, prioritising tasks, and maintaining important relationships with colleagues, stakeholders, and the public.

Essential Qualifications, Skills and Experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for engaging with diverse audiences.
  • Previous project management experience and qualifications are advantageous.
  • Strong IT skills and enthusiasm for new technologies.
  • Commitment to diversity and inclusivity, with respectful interactions across communities.
