Job summary

Qualifications

• Enthusiastic and experienced policy planner
• Strong experience in planning policy leadership
• Ability to lead on key policy areas
• Clear understanding of urban and rural policy contexts

Responsibilities

• Lead on the Local Plan and other policy documents, including research, policy formulation and consultation events
• Provide expert policy advice to Development Management and colleagues
• Coordinate neighbourhood plan support and engagement with communities and partners
• Represent the council in examinations and stakeholder meetings
