Job summary

Searchandselect is seeking an Insurance Technician to join a busy team in the United Kingdom. You will manage policy documentation, endorsements, renewals and cancellations, and interact with brokers, underwriters and claims handlers with accuracy and professionalism.

The role requires strong organisation, attention to detail and experience in insurance administration, ideally with knowledge of marine or war risks and sanctions compliance.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of policy documentation and insurance terminology.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Experience in insurance administration or underwriting support.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, process, and maintain insurance policies, endorsements, renewals, and cancellations.
• Deal with over 300 shipping companies.
• Declare and process Additional Premium calls.
• Liaise with brokers, members, underwriters and claims handlers.
• Maintain accurate records within electronic filing systems.
• Assist with AP calls to sanctioned counties.
• Assist with ship renewals.
• Respond to broker and client enquiries in a professional and timely manner.
• Ensure adherence to company procedures, service standards, and regulatory requirements.
