Role overview

Reporting to our Head of Policy Fraud, this role leads our Policy Fraud and Intelligence teams. You will collaborate with the business, industry stakeholders, law enforcement, and regulatory bodies to identify criminal activity and support evidence and intelligence sharing to combat fraud.

Job responsibilities include:
  • Proactively detecting and preventing fraud to protect genuine customers and ensure excellent outcomes
  • Managing workstreams and reviewing benefits proactively
  • Owning fraud investigation strategies and analysis to address all forms of fraud
  • Reducing operational and claims costs by identifying threats and leakage
  • Utilizing MI, intelligence products, and data to prioritize investigations and improve team performance
  • Seeking opportunities to enhance fraud detection capabilities organization-wide
Essential skills and experience:
  • Understanding of motor insurance principles, legislation, and personal lines insurance
  • Knowledge of risk related to policy and application fraud, with examples
  • Experience in motor insurance policy or fraud roles
