Job Description:

Archer Resourcing has a unique opportunity for a Policy and Public Affairs Manager to join a charity that supports individuals facing homelessness and housing issues.

Summary:

The Policy and Public Affairs Manager will contribute to achieving our client's 2025 strategy objectives, working closely with the Campaigns Team, Fundraising, and Housing Services to create positive impacts on the lives of those served.

We welcome applications from diverse backgrounds, especially those with direct experience of homelessness and poor housing conditions.

Responsibilities:
  • Support the Policy and Research team
  • Develop and maintain relationships with officials and politicians at national and local levels
  • Support the Campaigns Engagement Officer
  • Collaborate with the communications team to effectively communicate views to the public
  • Produce high-quality written materials such as briefings, blogs, and publications
  • Work with Fundraising to deliver cohesive supporter campaigns
Requirements:
  • Experience in housing or homelessness issues
  • A passion to end homelessness
  • Enhanced DBS check (dated within the last 12 months) – on the update service? Applicants may be fast-tracked through recruitment
