We are seeking a highly skilled and self-motivated professional to work across both councils, supporting our response to Local Government Reorganisation (LGR).

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and contribute to the delivery of the LGR Programme
• Act as project manager for LGR projects
• Serve as a key point of contact for the councils, facilitating coordination of devolution and LGR activities
• Ensure both Brentwood Borough Council and Rochford District Council stay informed on devolution and LGR developments
• Lead planning and delivery of LGR consultation and engagement activities, with findings analyzed to inform the councils' strategies
• Conduct research and analysis to support the councils' approaches to devolution and local government reorganization
