The post is based at Head Office - London, with four days in the office and Fridays working from home.

Job description

Role: Policy and Communications Administrator

Salary: £36,006.69 (gross) per annum inclusive of London Weighting, with a fixed sum allowance of £441. There is the ability to progress to £39,971.53 over the next 3 years.

Location: Head Office- London

Duration: Permanent

The Labour Party is looking to recruit a Policy and Communications Administrator. The post-holder will be responsible for providing comprehensive and efficient administrative support to the Policy & Research and Communications Directorates.

The successful candidate will have
  • Political awareness
  • Experience of working in a busy office, dealing with a range of conflicting priorities
  • Ability to work proactively with a variety of stakeholders

The Labour Party’s standard working arrangement is that all employees based in headquarters in London/Newcastle attend their contracted office four days per week, Monday to Thursday. Home working is only authorised on Fridays.
