You will need to demonstrate excellent communication and organisational skills and be comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.

You Will Bring

  • Experience working in a political environment (with elected members or in campaign settings), or relevant academic background such as a degree in a related social science or humanities subject.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with the confidence to work collaboratively and professionally with elected members.
  • Excellent qualitative, quantitative, and verbal skills, including experience drafting policy briefings and formal correspondence.
  • Ability to exercise sound judgement and work with discretion in a politically sensitive environment.
  • High level of initiative and attention to detail, with the ability to manage competing priorities effectively.
  • Strong administrative and IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel, with the ability to manage diaries, format documents, and proofread written materials to a high standard.
