Stryders Solicitors in St Albans (UK) is seeking a Paralegal with Police Station accreditation to join a busy criminal defence team. The role involves assisting with Magistrates’ Court and Crown Court work under supervision, conducting legal research, and attending police stations and hearings as required.

The ideal candidate will have accreditation, criminal law experience, and be able to work independently within a supportive, client‑focussed environment.

The Role

This is a great opportunity for a paralegal with police station accreditation to join our busy team. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, dedicated and take pride in their work, conducting themselves in a professional and friendly manner. First class client care is essential, as is the ability to collaborate as part of a busy team to meet the firm’s commitments in the Police Station and assist with the preparation of Magistrates’ Court and Crown Court cases under supervision.

• Full-time (Office hours 9:00am – 5:30pm, Monday to Friday)
• Initially office based
• Competitive salary in the region of £30,000 p/a, dependant on experience.
