Opportunity Details: Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary are looking for experienced investigators based in Hampshire or the Isle of Wight who are willing to travel to locations including Basingstoke, Portsmouth, Southampton, or the Isle of Wight to be part of a professional team carrying out various investigations.
As a Police Staff Investigator (PSI), your duties will include statement taking, CCTV review, suspect interviewing, TICs, intelligence interviews, file building, disclosure, and attending court as an Officer in Case (OIC).
You will also support other investigators with case progression tasks such as disclosure reviews, redacting, reviewing third-party data, and document scheduling.
Requirements include qualification to PIP2 or equivalent, proven investigatory experience, and knowledge of Criminal Law and Justice procedures.
This role is suitable for experienced former detectives or civilian investigators seeking flexible work.
Successful applicants will undergo a 6-day induction, typically based at Netley outside Southampton, before joining their team.
