Contract: Temporary (Fixed Term Contract)

Hours: Part and Full Time

Is this an opportunity for you?

Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary are looking for experienced investigators based in Hampshire or the Isle of Wight willing to travel to locations including Basingstoke, Portsmouth, Southampton, or the Isle of Wight to be part of a professional team carrying out various investigations.

As a Police Staff Investigator (PSI), your duties will include statement taking, CCTV review, suspect interviewing, TICs, intelligence interviews, file building, disclosure, and attending court as OIC.

You will also assist with case progression tasks such as disclosure reviews, redacting, reviewing third-party data, and document scheduling.

Requirements include qualification to PIP2 or equivalent, experience in investigative roles, and knowledge of Criminal Law and procedures.

This role suits experienced detectives or investigators seeking flexible work.

Successful applicants will undergo a 6-day induction at Netley, near Southampton.
