Police Staff Investigator PIP Level 2 – HC619093

Location: Portsmouth

Contract: Temporary (Fixed Term Contract)

Hours: Part and Full Time

Opportunity details: Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary are seeking experienced investigators based in Hampshire or the Isle of Wight, willing to travel to locations including Basingstoke, Portsmouth, Southampton, or the Isle of Wight. The role involves various investigative activities such as statement taking, CCTV review, suspect interviewing, TICs, intelligence interviews, file building, and court attendance.

The ideal candidate will be qualified to PIP2 or equivalent, with proven investigatory experience, preferably with knowledge of Criminal Law and Justice procedures. Suitable for experienced Detective Constables, Sergeants, Inspectors, Police Staff Investigators, or Civilian Investigators seeking flexible work.

Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary values bravery, commitment, and conscientiousness. Successful applicants will undergo a 6-day induction, typically based at Netley outside Southampton, before joining their team.
