Job summary

Sussex Police seeks an experienced Occupational Health Screening / Practice Nurse to support Surrey Police and Sussex Police in a collaborative OHWS team. You will perform periodic medicals, health surveillance, and case management as needed, maintaining accurate records in Cority and other systems.

Role requires traveling and delivering health advice to staff, with emphasis on privacy, professionalism, and continuous development in occupational health practices.

Qualifications

Registered OH Nurse with screening experience (or OH Qualification).
Knowledge of health surveillance and screening practices.
Ability to maintain confidential records.
Experience with GDPR and Data Protection requirements.

Responsibilities

Undertake periodic and pre-placement medicals for police officers and staff and conduct health surveillance.
Possibly be involved in case management depending on qualifications and experience.
Maintain confidential records using Cority and manual systems.
Promote health, fitness, wellbeing and lifestyle advice across services.
Travel to varying locations as required.
