The Police Constable Entry Programme (PCEP) offers a comprehensive training of two years. It begins with 24 weeks of initial learning at our Training Centres in Sulhamstead and Kidlington, followed by operational coaching at your designated Local Command Unit (LCU). There is no academic assessment during this entry programme, and it does not include academic accreditation. After successfully completing your two-year probation, you will become a substantive Police Constable with opportunities for progression and specialization within the Force.
The starting salary for new recruits is £32,907, with potential to earn over £51,000 annually by the seventh year.
This application is primarily for Buckinghamshire covering Amersham, Aylesbury, High Wycombe, and Milton Keynes. Other locations in Oxfordshire or Berkshire may also be considered. Do not apply for multiple locations.
