Job Description:

We are welcoming applications for the role of Police Enquiry Officer (Part time) with Devon & Cornwall Police based at Tiverton.

Salary: Grade 4 - Starts at £24,921 rising to £27,351 per annum. For 15 hours/week, starting salary is £10,103, rising to £11,088. Salaries are prorated for part-time roles.

Type of employment: Permanent

Working arrangement: Static-Worker (work at specific premises, minimal remote work)

Hours per week: 15 hours, with flexibility and consideration for training requirements.

Allowances: Weekend Working payment.

Responsibilities include:

  • First point of contact for reported crimes and incidents
  • Providing initial responses and advice to the public and agencies
  • Accurately recording information
  • Supporting witnesses and victims, escalating issues as needed

Role involves training at Police Headquarters, Middlemoor, Exeter, with travel required.
