A community-focused police service is looking for a part-time Police Enquiry Officer to act as the first point of contact for reported incidents. You will respond to enquiries, aid victims and witnesses, and help in community policing efforts. Starting salary for 27.45 hours per week is A GBP 19,367 rising by yearly increments to a maximum of A GBP 21,257 per annum. (Full time equivalent is A GBP 26,106 to A GBP 28,653 per annum).
No annual leave will be approved due to the essential training required for the role : dates when no leave will be approved to be advised when appointment is confirmed.
Your training will take place at Police Headquarters, Middlemoor, Exeter. So you must be willing and able to travel to Exeter for the duration of the course, regardless of your base station.
