  • Pay rate: £20.98 per hour PAYE or £26.65 per hour Umbrella

We are currently recruiting for Ex Police Detectives to support the Grenfell Inquiry. This role is based in Hendon, London, and offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a significant investigation. The position is action-led, focusing on progressing established criminal investigations.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Conducting major and complex crime investigations.
  • Working within a Major Incident Room (MIR) or Major Investigation Team (MIT) in a HOLMES environment.
  • Producing detailed and accurate reports.
  • Utilising IT skills to manage data and information effectively.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Professionalising Investigation Programme (PIP2) accredited or equivalent police detective experience.
  • Recent experience (last two years) in major/complex crime investigations.
  • Previous experience in a Major Incident Room (MIR) or Major Investigation Team (MIT) HOLMES environment is ideal.
  • Excellent report writing and written communication skills.
  • IT literacy, with a strong command of Microsoft Word and Excel.

Additional Information:

  • These roles are temporary, available on a full-time or part-time basis (minimum 3 days), for up to 12 months.
  • All roles are subject to strict police vetting and right to work checks.
