Permanent, Full-Time (40 hours per week)

The Civil Nuclear Constabulary (CNC) is an armed police service dedicated to the nuclear industry. Our vision is to be recognized as the UK's leading organization for protective policing of the civil nuclear industry and critical infrastructure. We recruit skilled professionals to our team to ensure security.

As a CNC Police Officer, you'll be part of a highly trained team providing 24/7 armed response, patrolling nuclear sites, facilities, and materials, and working with local police forces. We also participate in national deployments like Operation Temperer.

New officers undergo a 19-week comprehensive firearms training program, preparing you to become a highly trained firearms professional, even without prior policing experience.

After a 2-year probation, you can apply for specialist roles such as Dog Handler, Firearms Instructor, or Strategic Escort Group Officer.

We uphold high standards of professionalism, values, and ethics, ensuring all officers demonstrate these principles.
