Job summary

Warwickshire Police offers the Police Constable Entry Programme (PCEP), a 2-year route where you join as an officer from day one with a starting salary of £32,256 and yearly increments on your anniversary.

The programme starts in early to mid-2027 (March or June). It aims to develop policing skills via in-house training and hands-on experience while serving communities in Warwickshire.

Qualifications

• Two A Levels or an equivalent Level 3+ qualification.
• An academic or vocational qualification outside England/Wales equivalent to Level 3.
• Currently serving as a PCSO with completed probation and up-to-date training.
• Currently serving as a Special Constable with independent patrol status and 16 hours per month.
• Have served with the Armed Forces with the minimum term and exemplary reference.
• Public-facing experience (e.g., paramedics, control room staff) may be considered case-by-case.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the national selection process for the Police Constable Entry Programme (PCEP).
• Complete the online National Sift with exercises including Situational Judgement Test, 15 scenarios, and a Behavioural style questionnaire.
• Proceed to assessment centre, final interview, and pre-employment checks if successful.
