Job description

This role works a shift pattern including weekends and attracts irregular hours and weekend working allowances.

Please note the closing date for this role is 5 pm on Thursday 10th July 2025, however applications will be progressed as soon as they are received.

The main purpose of the role is to work within identified communities to enhance safer neighbourhoods and provide reassurance in order to reduce both crime and the fear of crime.

In order to ensure resilience and to reflect the significant training investment, the post of PCSO is subject to a minimum two year tenure period. This means you will be unable to apply for any internal vacancies for a period of two years from the commencement of your ap pointment.

Please ensure that you upload the relevant proof of qualifications and your tattoo pictures to your application form.

If successful please note that we will not be able to offer you a position until we receive confirmation that you hold a full manual driving licence.
