Job summary

Hampshire and Isle of Wight Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting podiatrists to join a dynamic team across community settings from Portsmouth to Southampton. You will assess and manage foot and ankle conditions, with opportunities to contribute to audits, research and quality improvement projects, while progressing your professional development.

Qualifications

BSc Podiatry or equivalent required.
HCPC registration is essential.
Postgraduate study or evidence of advanced caseload experience preferred.
IRMER and POM certificates are required.
Driving licence and own car are advantageous.

Responsibilities

Undertake wound and MSK assessments with management including debridement and casting techniques.
Provide advanced wound care, prescribe/influence medications for diabetes, vascular foot disease and related conditions.
Collaborate with the podiatry team and other health care professionals; engage in appraisals, CPD, supervision and mentoring.
Identify off-loading needs and, where appropriate, undertake minor nail procedures.
