Podiatry Service Manager

The Podiatry team has an exciting opportunity to appoint a Podiatry Service Manager for 30 hours a week. The role is integral to the podiatry service, and the postholder is required to work at an advanced clinical level managing patients with highly complex diabetic foot wounds.

The Service Manager will be responsible for all aspects of the management of the podiatry service at AUH, including performance management. They will have a strategic view of podiatry provision across the local health economy, with a specific remit for the strategic development of podiatry services within AUH.

  • BSc hons Podiatry or Diploma in Podiatric Medicine
  • Registered with Health Care Professions Council (HCPC) - Podiatry
  • Post-Graduation qualification in Diabetes - Master's level or equivalent
  • Certification in Local Anaesthesia
Experience

  • Experience working in a multidisciplinary setting
  • Experience in service and policy development along with audit

  • Clinical post-registration experience assessing and treating patients with Diabetes
