An Integrated Care System in Buckinghamshire is seeking a dedicated Podiatrist to join their team. The role involves working in clinical settings, providing specialized podiatric care, and contributing to patient mobility and independence. You will work in a variety of clinical settings within Buckinghamshire with the aim of delivering excellent care to high need patients in order to maintain their mobility and independence. You must have good general clinical and diagnostic skills as you will be working on your own initiative as well as part of the team. For those new to the NHS, the Trust offers a multi-disciplinary preceptorship scheme.
The post holder is required to have clear communication and interpersonal skills as well as enthusiasm for contributing to this service, which benefits from being part of this Integrated Trust.
Our podiatry service has placement rotations for staff within its own specialist teams, such as Rheumatology, MSK and Diabetes / Wound clinics as well as regular sessions on the nail surgery rota. We meet for monthly staff meetings and clinical reasoning sessions. There will be a small home visiting caseload.
