Job summary

Great British Energy is seeking a PMO Support Officer to join the GBE Team in Aberdeen or Edinburgh. You will help embed project management processes, support governance activities, and develop PMO tools and dashboards using Power BI and MS 365 tools.

You will collate data, track actions, and produce progress reports, while coordinating with stakeholders across projects to ensure delivery on time, cost and quality targets. A competitive package and flexible working arrangements are offered.

Qualifications

• Be highly organised with experience supporting complex or high-risk projects.
• Ability to apply project management tools to design project structures.
• Proactive stakeholder engagement and autonomous work style.
• Experience with PMO governance, reporting, and data-driven decision making.

Responsibilities

• Support PMO leads in embedding programme and project management processes.
• Assist with monitoring, reporting, risk & issue management, planning and governance.
• Develop tools, templates and guidance for programme management.
• Coordinate governance meetings, pre-reads, action tracking and decision logs.
• Prepare progress reports and data for internal and external stakeholders.
