Job description

The Bristol Temple Quarter Limited Liability Partnership (BTQLLP) is looking for a driven and collaborative PMO Project Officer to join their interim team and play a vital role in one of the UK's largest and most exciting regeneration programmes. You'll be part of a dynamic partnership creating new homes, workspaces, and vibrant public places in the heart of Bristol.

Reporting to the Head of PMO, the Project Officer will specialise in supporting the projects. The ideal candidate will have worked in a project environment and has an interest in developing their career in project management.

Location: West of England Combined Authority

Set-up: Hybrid - to be discussed

Rate: GBP23.78 per hour, via umbrella inside IR35

Duration: Initial 12-month

Hours: Full-time position

Responsibilities include:

  • Provide direct project and administrative support to Programme and Project Managers across the BTQ regeneration programme
  • Maintain and update project management tools including RAID logs, dashboards, and portfolio plans
  • Organise and support project meetings, workshops, and decision boards - ensuring key deliverables are tracked and approvals are obtained
  • Assist in the preparation and submission of quarterly monitoring reports to Homes England
  • Manage BTQ records, SharePoint site content, and forward planning documentation to ensure compliance and oversight

Requirements:

  • Proven experience supporting a variety of projects or programmes, ideally in a public sector or regeneration setting
  • Strong IT skills - proficient in MS Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Power BI, and Microsoft Project
  • Skilled in information management, minute taking, and producing high-quality documentation and reports
  • Highly organised, detail-oriented and capable of managing a busy and varied workload with minimal supervision
  • Confident communicator and team player with strong interpersonal skills and an understanding of discretion and confidentiality
