YOUR ROLE

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced PMO (Project Management Officer) to join our team in Northampton within the financial services sector. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the effective governance of projects and programs through the establishment and maintenance of standardized project management practices. This position requires a professional who possesses a strong understanding of project management methodologies, particularly in financial services, and who can adeptly navigate the complexities of our multi-faceted projects. The PMO will collaborate closely with project managers and stakeholders to facilitate smooth project execution, providing both strategic and practical support. This includes overseeing project performance metrics, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives across the project lifecycle. The PMO will also be responsible for fostering a culture of accountability and transparency within the organization while managing project documentation and reporting activities. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully managing multiple projects simultaneously, demonstrating exceptional leadership, analytical, and communication skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes that align with the organization's strategic objectives.

YOUR PROFILE

• Proven experience in project management, preferably in the financial services industry.
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools, such as Agile and Waterfall.
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to influence and motivate teams.
• Outstanding analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent are highly preferred.
