Job summary

Southern Water in Falmer, Brighton (hybrid: 2 days in office) seeks a Major Projects PMO Planning Lead to drive strategic planning and scheduling across a portfolio of high‑profile infrastructure projects. You will lead a planning team and work with project managers, engineers and procurement to optimise efficiency and value through the project lifecycle.

You must be an expert in Primavera P6, establish integrated portfolio schedules, govern baselines, manage risks and What-if scenarios, and

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading PMO planning within large-scale infrastructure or capital programmes.
• Strong leadership skills with a track record of managing and developing teams.
• Expert knowledge of Primavera P6 and planning governance processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for all programme planning and scheduling activities across major projects.
• Establish and maintain an integrated portfolio-level schedule with robust governance.
• Oversee preparation and analysis of schedules, including critical path and what-if scenarios.
