Job summary

National Physical Laboratory (NPL) is seeking a PMO Officer to provide project support across the PMO and its workstreams. You will focus on lower-risk areas, ensuring timely, accurate information and strong governance across the programme.

The role supports development of practical project delivery skills and exemplifies best practice for customers and staff. You will collaborate with workstream leads, chair meetings, and contribute to reporting, planning and closure activities, while

Qualifications

• Experience in a project support, PMO or administrative role within a structured environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly project status reports for lower-risk workstreams, covering finances, resources, risks, issues, dates and deliverables.
• Take minutes at project meetings and maintain/update project plans.
• Support lower-risk workstreams with accurate information and monitor delivery.
• Identify risks and discrepancies and take action accordingly.
• Produce reports for senior managers and workstream leads.
