Job Description:

An outstanding permanent Project Management Officer (PMO) position within a leading Manufacturing organisation based in Uxbridge, West London / Middlesex.

The organisation seeks a detail-oriented and proactive Project Management Officer to join its Programmes team. Your role will involve supporting Project and Work Package Managers on critical projects, maintaining project schedules, assisting with project tracking, and managing our in-house project management system (PMS).

You will work closely with stakeholders across the business to ensure project plans are accurate and current, facilitating data-driven decisions related to resources and revenue. Additionally, you'll be involved in process improvements, user training, and supporting PMS upgrades and new functionalities.

Responsibilities as PMO:
  • Supporting planning and schedule maintenance for project and work packages
  • Contributing to project performance tracking and governance
  • Collaborating with engineering, operations, and support teams
  • Developing and delivering training materials for the PMS
  • Participating in system upgrades and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement
Candidate requirements:
  • Experience as a PMO in project planning and management within manufacturing or aerospace sectors
  • Knowledge of tools like SAP, Primavera, or Planisware (training provided)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Motivation to maintain high standards and learn new skills
