Job summary

Roc Search Europe Limited is seeking a PMO Manager - Portfolio & Change in Sheffield. The role is hybrid, paying £55,000–£67,500 with benefits, on a 12-month FTC.

You will develop and mature the PMO function, strengthen governance, and lead change and integration activities while coaching project teams in a growing professional services environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience maturing or developing a PMO function.
• Strong governance, reporting and delivery experience.
• Experience through significant organisational change; M&A exposure advantageous.
• Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and embed PMO governance, processes and ways of working.
• Improve project reporting, controls, methodologies and templates.
• Own change and integration activity across programmes.
• Provide guidance and coaching to project and programme teams.
• Monitor project progress, KPIs, risks & issues and report to senior stakeholders.
• Drive continuous improvement across the project and change environment.

We're working with a growing professional services organisation going through significant growth and acquisition activity, and they're looking for a PMO Manager - Portfolio & Change to help develop and mature the PMO function.

This is a hands-on role for a PMO Manager who enjoys building, improving and influencing, with continuous improvement mindset, and a focus on strengthening governance and delivery.

The Role

• Develop and embed PMO governance, processes and ways of working
• Improve project reporting, controls, methodologies and templates
• Own change and integration activity
• Provide guidance and coaching to project and programme teams
• Monitor project progress, KPIs, risks & issues and report to senior stakeholders
• Drive continuous improvement across the project and change environment
• Drive the adoption of new PPM tools across the project & programme teams

About You

• Proven experience developing or maturing a PMO function
• Strong governance, reporting and delivery experience
• Experience working through significant organisational change; M&A experience would be advantageous
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills
• Confident with Microsoft 365, particularly Teams and MS Project
• Jira or Planview experience (or similar tools)
• Comfortable working in a busy, changing environment
