Qualifications

  • Support project managers and business sponsors to ensure delivery success.
  • Prepare and manage IT budget reporting and tracking.
  • Provide high-level insights and reporting to senior leadership.

Are you a PMO expert with a passion for driving delivery excellence across complex digital portfolios? Do you want to play a pivotal role in shaping and supporting large-scale transformation within a high-profile public sector organisation?

We're looking for a PMO Manager to lead the development, improvement, and management of a modern, agile PMO function. This is a fantastic opportunity to influence digital strategy at a senior level, working alongside business and technology leaders.

Key Responsibilities
Lead and evolve the Portfolio Management Office function.

Oversee reporting, risk, issue management, change control, and benefits tracking across a digital portfolio.

Support project managers and business sponsors to ensure delivery success and governance alignment.

Prepare and manage IT budget reporting and tracking.

Provide high-level insights and reporting to senior leadership.

Promote collaboration and inspire teams across technical and business areas.

What We're Looking For
Proven experience in PMO or project/programme management functions

Strong grasp of Agile and Waterfall methodologies

Budgeting and resource planning capabilities

Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills

Ability to work independently and provide confident assurance

Desirable
Relevant certifications: Prince2, AgilePM, P3O

Experience with MS Project for the Web, SharePoint, Power BI, Power Automate
