Job summary

Unum UK is seeking an experienced PMO Manager to lead the Project Management Office within Core Business Change. You will shape governance, portfolio reporting, and delivery assurance across a varied change portfolio, providing structure, insight and risk management to teams.

The role emphasizes using AI, automation and technology to improve capacity and impact, coaching PMO colleagues and collaborating with senior stakeholders to turn complex delivery data into clear insight.

Qualifications

• Extensive PMO, portfolio or programme management experience.
• Strong governance frameworks and delivery controls.
• Ability to translate complex delivery data into clear insight.
• Experience working with senior stakeholders and challenging delivery teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop PMO frameworks, standards, methodologies and controls.
• Provide governance, challenge and delivery assurance across projects and programmes.
• Produce portfolio reporting, dashboards and management information for executives.
• Manage portfolio risks, issues, actions, dependencies and decisions with escalation.
• Support resource planning, capacity forecasting, business cases, benefits tracking and financial reporting.
• Drive continuous improvement of PMO tools and processes using AI or automation.
