Job summary

Derbyshire Wildlife Trust is expanding its Programme Management Office to coordinate a growing portfolio of projects, partnerships and funding opportunities, delivering Wilder 2030 with greater visibility and strategic focus.

As our PMO Lead, you will establish governance, build practical systems, and ensure projects deliver maximum impact for people and nature. You’ll work across teams to turn ambition into action and strengthen delivery across the organisation.

Qualifications

• Experience establishing or managing PMO functions and governance frameworks.
• Strong project and programme management skills across multiple priorities.
• Excellent organisational, planning and prioritisation abilities.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and cross-team relationship building.

Responsibilities

• Establish and lead Derbyshire Wildlife Trust's Programme Management Office, developing governance and ways of working to support delivery.
• Oversee a growing portfolio of projects and programmes, ensuring resources are planned and risks managed.
• Coordinate and strengthen grant funding processes to deliver Wilder 2030 ambitions.
• Build project management capability across the organisation to improve delivery.
