Job summary

Derbyshire Wildlife Trust is building a Programme Management Office to coordinate its ambitious Wilder 2030 strategy and funding growth. As PMO Lead you will establish the office, implement governance and practical ways of working to drive successful project delivery across the organisation.

You'll work across teams to influence decisions, improve planning and shape how we deliver Wilder 2030, while developing project capability and delivering meaningful outcomes for communities and nature.

Qualifications

• Experience establishing or managing PMO functions, project governance frameworks or portfolio management systems.
• Strong project and programme management skills across multiple priorities.
• Excellent organisational, planning and prioritisation skills.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication across teams.
• Ability to develop practical systems and processes that improve organisational effectiveness.

Responsibilities

• Establish and lead Derbyshire Wildlife Trust's PMO with governance and working practices.
• Oversee growing project/programme portfolio, ensure resources, manage risks and provide leadership insight.
• Coordinate and strengthen grant funding processes to support Wilder 2030 ambitions.
• Build project management capability across the organisation to improve delivery.
